Ass. Professor Vera Simovska is a Doctor of Medical Sciences (PhD) for Nutritional and Sports Medicine, University’s. Cyril and Methodius”, Skopje. She is a Medical Director of Master Study of Nutrition at the University of Bitola. She was an Expert for three different programs in various countries. This work included a position of the National Expert in the Ministry of Health of Macedonia (2009-2011), an Expert in the European Commission :RTD/FP7, HORIZON2020, Europe Aid,(2008-2014) and an Expert in the United Nations (2005). She was a National coordinator in several projects covered by the WHO from 2001 to 2011 (CINDI, Move for Health, HEPA Europe) and she is familiar with many aspects of the work of the European Commission and United Nations.

Paras Kumar Mishra, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor at Department of Cellular and Integrative Physiology, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska, USA. His research work is primarily focused on understanding the mechanism of pathological cardiac remodeling during heart failure especially in diabetics with the aim to develop intervention tool for potential therapy of diabetic heart failure.His research has been supported by American Heart Association, and National Institute of Health grants.

His research interests are investigating the role of miRNAs (especially miR-133), matrix metalloproteinases (MMP-2, and -9), homocysteine, hydrogen sulfide, beta-adrenergic receptors in autophagy, epigenetic modification, cardiac stem cell proliferation and differentiation, extracellular matrix remodeling, contractility of cardiomyocytes and cardiac dysfunction using state-of-the- art techniques.

Prof. Mohamed Saleh Ismail has completed his PhD at the age of 36 years from Minufiya University, Egypt. He has supervised 14 PhD and 26 Master thesis in the field of human and clinical nutrition, also he published more than 20 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as a reviewer in several reputed journals e.g. Nutrition and Dietetics, Journal of Public Health etc. In addition, he translated three books from English to Arabic (Principles of Nutritional Assessment, Nutrition and Immunity in Human, and Simplified Diet Manual).
